JOURNEY INTO TRANCE WITH ZONEX
ZoneX has identified with electronic music since the beginning of the 90’s. His desire to share the music he loves gave the first impulse for him to begin DJing. Inspired by Signum, DJ Tatana, Space frog and many others, he has lighted up the dancefloors since the year 2000.
During his DJ career ZoneX has mostly played trance, and with time he has developed his own energetic and melodic selection, with some progressive and tech nuances. He has also developed his own musical style, diversified by various tricks as he spins the records. Clubbers have described his energetic and soulful performances as unique, reflecting from behind the decks to the dancing crowd.
ZoneX has been the main organiser and promoter in several electronic music clubs in Lahti. All clubs and events, Yang, Ascension, Kromosomi (previously Down Under) and Elektaasi, are different, supporting various genres of electronic music. He is a founding member of Etana, a collective that regularly organises parties for young people. His aim is to continue the traditions of electronic music among future generations.
He has played in same events with names such as Rowland the Bastard (UK), Miika Kuisma, Proteus, Eliot Ness, Rx, Poliisi, etc, and has recently begun in the field of music production by composing tracks together with Kone-J.
